Is it possible to upgrade the hardisk of a ibm thinkpad R50e, running sparky linux, with a SSD? If possible which kind of SSD? For example this one:KingSpec SSD

Hi jeanpat,

The KingSpec SSD should work as it is using PATA/IDE interface, which is the same interface as your R50e.

Hi Jeanpat, Just wondering if your got this going, I also have a Thinkpad R50e 1834 and was thinking of upgrading it and putting a new OS on it.
