Re: Wireless problem with lenovo sl400

Hello,

What are you trying to connect to? A wireless router in your home? A wifi hotspot? Please be more specific.

Re: Wireless problem with lenovo sl400

to be more specific
there's a connection but sometimes it's very very weak.
other times it's good
the connections keeps cutting every 5 or 10 minutes which is bad when i'm downloading a file

i also have another Thinkpad R52 laptop where i have never had any of these issues with and it's working perfectly

Re: Wireless problem with lenovo sl400

Read through this thread:

http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/SL-Series-ThinkPad-Laptops/Wireless-problem-with-lenovo-sl400/m-p/577667...

It actually identifies two potential fixes. The first being a power management adjustment and the second being a bios update.

Both posters report success.

Good luck!

Re: Wireless problem with lenovo sl400

Which wireless adapter do you have in the SL500? A ThinkPad branded card, Intel Wifi 5300?

ThinkPads are generally the best when it comes to wireless signals.
