Wrong warranty status

Hello everybody,

 

I bought a new Thinkpad R61 in combination with 3 year on-site warranty service-pack.

 

Now its fine, it shows as 3 years warranty, BUT with a displacement.

It should be from June-2009 to June 2012 instead its showing as June-2008 to June-2011.

 

Now I have a hardware problem and called the support several times with the conclusion, that I need a new mainbaord.

 

BUT: the support can't see the on-site warranty. I forwarded a mail with the invoice from the retailer to the support and they wanted to check this a contact me again.

 

Now no response from there.

 

The only way to contact the registration department is via mail (scmindia@in.ibm.com).

 

Does somebody have the same problem and has a solution for me?

For example a telephone number of this department?

 

I think, you can imagine, that I am really disappointed of the Lenovo thinkpad service!

I'm really sorry that you couldn't get repair service as expected due to the wrong expiration date.

  • Full Name
  • Phone Contact
  • Email
  • Machine Type Model ( i.e. 7660-14A)
  • Serial Number
  • Invoice of the warranty purchase (upload to somewhere and give me the link)
