cpu and motherboard temperatures

My CPU is running at 54 F and my motherboard at 45 F. What are healthy temperature ranges for these? When is it too hot?

thanks

Re: cpu and motherboard temperatures

Anything below 65 degrees Celsius for R61i is okay, anything between 65 to 80 degrees probably suggests you need to clean your laptop's fan and heat vent.

Re: cpu and motherboard temperatures

take off the keyboard and palm rest, and then use a can of compressed air and blew from the inside out to remove any dusts around the heat vent.

Here is the hardware manual on how to to change parts on your laptop, if you are in doubt about any process.
