Battery Icon

2009-01-18, 12:40 PM
I Accidentally disabled the green battery icon, which lets you change the graphics and shows battery life. Where I can get it back on? And is there a other way to change graphics than clicking from it? Running vista on w500

thanks

Hi Kesto-V,

Maybe the following instruction is a bit misleadingly. I have the german version of Windows and the Energy manager

Instruction to enable the Lenovo Battery icon:

Go start \ Control Panel \ Energy Configuration

on the left side, you should find the red lenovo Energy Manager Icon

Open and go to the last register, called "options"

check the first entry " show energy manager in taskbar"

good luck

Thanks MirkoP, tried that but it don't have any affect to it :S the "x" was on there, and changing it doesn't do anything. Allthough when I boot my computer the battery bar appeared back.

I thought I had this cleared, but the **bleep** thing doesn't show up in after boot. Strangely it showed up as soon as I start to write a message to forum :S and this isn't the first time. I've tried what MirkoP said many times but it just don't seem to an effect to it. Well, thanks for ur time
