Hi

I am having issue with bootup up laptop attached to docking station with lid closed and external monitor connected with dock. If i open up the laptop lid and enter the login password then i see display on external monitor. After that even i close the lid i still able to see display on external monitor and work fine. But if i restart the computer with lid closed i again dont see any thing on external diaplay until I open up the lid and enter login password.

If any body else experienced same problem, Please help ? thanks.

First step: Leave your laptop turned off and dock your laptop with the lid closed. Once docked, then power on from the power button on the docking station. If that doesn't do it, then right-click your desktop, choose properties to display the Display Settings. Click on the settings tab and select dual monitor from the drop down radio button. Check the extend my monitor ... or something of that sort.

Then go back and repeat the first step.
