Re: Bring back the W700 series!!!

I've got an Asus MB169B+ and a GeChic 1303H. The Asus is a little bigger & cheaper and easier to hook up (a single USB connection handles both power and display, via Displaylink drivers) and the GeChic is a little smaller & lighter with a sharper image as it uses USB only for power and has a separate mini-HDMI connection for the image. I just got the GeChic and if I had to do it over again I'd probably have just used another Asus, but as long as I have it I guess it'll be my "travel" display.

I'll PM you my contact info and next time you're in New York, let's grab a beer!

Asus MB169+ lags! Only really useful for display mainly stationary information etc, not useful for gaming/movie/youtube or high frequency activities such as fast data input/financial modelling.

The Asus is fine though for streaming stock quotes and news headlines-- I agree though that the GeChic is a better (and more expensive) display.

Has anyone actually used this one:

I've seen it priced online for as little as $619 US -- seems very well-priced for a 4K display.
