Yes, it seems the solutions must come from Lenovo (not changing the mouse configuration!!!!). And I agree with the guy who posted the graphic, it's clear that problem is in the driver. Again, Lenovo doesn't watch what the people post here? I think they should so they know what's wrong (and right) with the products they manufacture.

Is quite annoying having a notebook so expensive like a P51 ( I paid more or less$ 2.000.-)  and that users have to deal with problems (silly problems) like this. I think is the worse publicity for a product so expensive.

I never did, but I think the next time I'll evaluate another brands.

Has anyone ever been given an actual email address for Lenovo Customer Support? The website link is a loooong runaround. If anyone has an actual email address, please post so that all of us can send them the solution offered above by Chris. Maybe this will get their attention,.

I contacted a support person from an old hardware issue that I'd had.

S-he suggested that we do the following:

Go to;
- Click on the Blue Feedback button
- Select 'Product'
- Rate your level of satisfaction
- Select 'Other' as your key purpose and leave your comments there.
 
We need to INCLUDE the LINK TO THIS THREAD (see below), plus an indication that a forum member has found the problem in the driver, which is explained in message 14.

Specify that they should look at message 14.

We finally heard from Synaptics that a fix is coming for this issue which happens when GDI objects equals 10000.  I don't know the release date yet.
