Choice of W500 model

2009-02-16, 9:39 AM

I'm rather lost on where to find the correct model of W500. The product description from Danish resellers doesn't always match the official description from Lenovo website. I'm trying to find the right model for my following requirements:

Intel Core 2 Duo processor T9400 (2.53 GHz), 6-MB L2 - Front Side Bus 1066MHz

4 GB PC3-8500 DDR3 SDRAM -  1066MHz

160 GB Harddisk - 7200 rpm

15,4in 1920x1200 LCD

512 MB ATI Mobility Radeon FireGL V5700

9 cell Lithium Ion battery

Intel WiFi Link 5300AGN

Integrated Intel 82567LM Gigabit Network Adapter

64bit OS Vista

Danish keyboard, naturally :smileywink:

Could some one help me with a model which have these features?

Thank you.

Without actually looking up a model for you, I'll suggest you this instead. Take a peak at laptops.dk.

They will give you the best price on a new ibm. The support is fast and great also, so you could also just try and email them your specs and see what they can do for you. I bought my w500 from them, and following an ultrabay hdd caddy and the wwan ericsson card wich I at first assumed was built in. The only part I forgot making sure of in my handfull of inquiering emails to them before purchase. And no I'm not associated to laptops.dk myself in any way.

Even thou you can't find a specific model, or spare part from their website. (neither my w500 or the spare parts I ordered where available from links on their site when I purchased them) They can/will digg stuff up for you, and create them in the shop for you to order.

Nuff praising. I just got impressed with their service/support in these days and ages dealing with young arrogant people running things thinking they know it all, and customers are only there to ruin their mood for the day :)
