Dolby Audio drivers missing components

2019-10-01, 23:17 PM

In an effort to troubleshoot audio problems, I deleted the Dolby Audio programs X2 Windows API SDK 0.8.8.88 and the associated application, and later learned that wasn't causing the issue.  I tried to do a windows restore to get the programs back, but that didn't work.

Looking all over the internet for the programs/drivers, Dolby sends you to lenovo.com.  Lenovo has nothing.

How can I get the Dolby drivers and programs back?

Running Windows 10 on a P70.

Hello WaterBuffaloGal and welcome the Lenovo forum,

The Dolby software should be included within the Realtek High Definition Audio Driver package.

After downloading the audio driver package from the support page follow the instructions on the screen to complete installation and restart the computer and that should reinstall any missing components.
