Hello,

unfortunately, there is no option to change your card. It´s soldered on your mobo.

@toby:

 What issues with ATi in W500 are you referring to?

ati does not support cuda (also, linux support is not as good as from nvidia, also there does not exist a V5700 card on the ati page, and therefore there is no XP/linux driver available for this card from ati)

lenovo, PLEASE make one of the nividia chips FX770M, FX1700M avalable as a choice when purchasing W500!!!

Hello everybody,

i'm not an expert on CUDA, but isn't it possible for you to use the stream compiler for your appilication?

Sorry if i don't understand the technical details...

I Just read this interesting article:

http://fireuser.com/blog/amd_stream_computing_and_nvidia_cuda_similar_but_different/

"AMD’s Brook+ (the Stream Compiler) is completely open source, while Nivida’s CUDA is proprietary."

I'd like to think that OpenSource is better, but that is only my opinion...

Anyway, you might think about buying a W700... those have nVidia inside...

Just my 2Cents...
