P43s white spot where trackpoint would be if the screen would be closed

Hi, I have a P43s with a matte screen which I had since September/October. I've noticed that a white spot has started to appear, which is visible on bright/white backgrounds, a couple of weeks ago but it is starting to be noticeable. I am still under the warranty (plus I have accidental damage warranty too). It is starting to get annoying and really noticeable. Would replacing the screen because of this be covered under the warranty? I didn't keep the laptop under pressure, so it looks like it might be the design which is at fault.

 

If it is, how would I go around getting support? I am in the UK, and I had terrible customer support before I even got my laptop (they lost it. Not only it was late, they lost it in the city next to where I live.). There is the online portal but it seems very confusing AF.

Thanks for any suggestions.
