Re: P50 does not detect 950 Pro M.2 SSD at BIOS level

I'm sure the "path to success" is to avoid Lenovo Support - ergo, AVOID ALL LENOVO PURCHASES.

<chuckle, chuckle, chuckle>  I think Lenovo's path to success is for you to purchase their devices but to receive no tech support.  <g>  They were actually moderately understanding of my problem, once I had everything figured out either on my own or through the assistance of other members on this forum.  I think they encourage you to use this forum for the "heavy lifting."  Lenovo support is for very simple stuff only.

P50, Intel Xeon E3-1505M v5, 4K, NVidia Quadro M2000M 4GB, Dual Samsung 950 PRO 512GB NVMe drives non-RAID, 32 GB Crucial Technology DDR4 2133 (PC4 17000). Windows 10 Home.

It's clear to me their model for success is to lower their tech support overhead. They were headed that way ever since being bought from IBM. Funny thing is, I'm here struggling dealing with rude, unhelpful Lenovo tech support and, managment is in the conference room talking to a couple of Lenovo sales reps for a possible large backend purchase. I think it's time to advise management to consider the support or, lack thereof.

Yep, you can't keep selling $3,000.00 notebooks with $0.20 support.  <g>  The people who buy these high-end machines expect tech support who understand how they operate.  It is not reassuring to talk with a technician who is reading from a manual.  It is a good thing that some of our fellow users are quite knowledgeable.
