P52 Thunderbolt: How to force controller to stay in powerup mode (detect1911.exe)

2020-09-10, 8:58 AM

I need to read the current NVM Version from Thunderbolt Controllers in P52's. Unfortunatelly I cant be sure a TB Device is attached when running the tools, so i have to make sure the controller is powered up. The supplied detect1911.exe Tool, can read all information fine, but I need to use the 2nd tool called "fwdetectcmd19911.exe".

The first tool powers on the controller , reads the information and turns it off again. But so far I was not able to capture screen output in powershell

The Second tool can't find a controller (if no TB device is attached) because it doesn't power on the controller itself.

I need to know if the first tool can leave to controller powered up (i would call it first then) or if the second tool can power on the controller too.

For both if these options I cant find any command line arguments for the tools.

Thank you
