Hi Gfritz,

Welcome to Lenovo Community! And happy to have you here.

As I understand that you have query regarding connecting 4k display in your system P70.

Here's a quick question just to make things clear which port does your 2nd display has?

And if I'm not wrong you have already connected 1st display using mDP port.

Please feel free to post in Lenovo Community Forums if you have any further queries!

Regards,
Prabhansh

Hi again,

Thanks for making it clear, in this scenario you have to use too many cables & Adapter to get the desired result.

Also there is no certified Thunderbolt 3 to Displayport from Lenovo.

You can try like these:

  • Mini DP to DP cable                  0A36537                     (for 1st Display)
  • USB3 to DP Adapter               4X90J31021                 (for 2nd Display

Source

You can also try using Plugable Thunderbolt 3 Dual DisplayPort  Adapter but its not certified by Lenovo.

Instead of using all this cable & Adapter you can directly use ThinkPad Workstation Dock 40A50230US  to have more access of different ports.

Do  let us know how it goes.

Please feel free to post in Lenovo Community Forums if you have any further queries!

Prabhansh
