2019-08-04, 4:55 AM

I have a Thinkpad P71 running windows 10 pro. I have had my laptop for over a year and suddenly, I try to turn on my laptop, I only see a black screen, the light on power button and keyboard light only flash a second and suddenly turn off. You can see in the video of gglink

Take out the battery, and then hold the power button for 30 seconds.

Then put the battery back and try again.

I forgot to tell you that my battery was lost in a flight a few months ago, since then, I have used my laptop connected directly to the ac adapter

If you still have warranty (many do), don't mess with it; call support.  If you have more than one DIMM, try them one at a time.
