After attempting to use the Lenovo Vantage App to update drivers on a Lenovo ThinkPad P53 20QN, I am also receiving this same error.

--- Following instructions in the Firmware Readme.txt provided by Lenovo ---

Link provided right here: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds543410/

Opening an Administrator CMD, navigating to the folder and running the ME Info app this is what I receive.

C:\drivers\win\me\20201206.09244737>MEInfoWin64.exe

Intel (R) MEInfo Version: 12.0.64.1551

General FW Information

Error 280: Detected ME in recovery mode.

I am running Windows 10 Pro, 1909
Major  Minor  Build  Revision

-----  -----  -----  --------

10     0      18363  0

WindowsProductName WindowsVersion OsHardwareAbstractionLayer

------------------ -------------- --------------------------

Windows 10 Pro     1909           10.0.18362.752

When I do any internet searches on this, I find very little talk about this error and no solutions.  Especially on the Lenovo Forums.  Has anyone actually resolved this issue on this model of laptop from Lenovo?  I need assistance in getting this resolved as I believe this could be leading to other issues on the laptop.
