Re:Replace Intel AC-7260 WiFi Adapter in W541?

I think you have gathered enough evidence to attempt a replacement of the 7260 adapter.

Try searching for new or open box:

Re:Replace Intel AC-7260 WiFi Adapter in W541?

Hi,

I have reseated the adapter, but I still have disconnections.

I'll try to replace it, but don't you think that the coincidence is strange that this happens just after the upgrade to Windows10 20H*.

Looking at aforementioned links (Intel web site), many people have had a the similar experience.

Intel suggest to ask our computer manufacturer :-/

It the disconnections still hapen after the replacement, what could be done ?

Thank's again and best regards

Re:Replace Intel AC-7260 WiFi Adapter in W541?

Dear All,

Adapter not changed, yet, but I just wanted to let you know that since my professional laptop (Dell)  has been upgraded to 20H2 (build 19042.1052) I have difficulties to connect to Wifi, too...

The Wifi does NOT reconnect automatically after each reboot, and I have to reconnect twice. No intermittent disconnections, though.

The adapter is an Intel AC-7265.

I'm still pretty sure that Wifi is unstable since W10 20H* with this family of adapters...

Who can help ? Intel, Microsoft or the PC manufacturers ?

Best regards.
