The previous system shutdown at 13:07:26 on ‎26.‎05.‎2021 was unexpected.

2021-05-26, 12:43 PM

Hello,

Like in the subject.

I had more of those unexpected shutdowns.

Every time it's unexpected. Just shutdown, without any bsod and so on.

Temps are fine because I'm monitoring them in the tray.

The device is almost new, updated to the latest version with drivers, OS and in Lenovo Vantage app.

EventViewer shows that like on the below screenshot:

Hello PaulAndTheBrain,

Greetings

I suggest that you share the machine type model / MTM (ex. 81C70000RK) from the sticker as it would help us detail more about your machine variant.
It would also help running diagnostics.
Update us how it goes.

Regards,

The diagnostics here:

https://file.io/BJGokdgZNQaE

The product name and serial number are attached to the diagnostics result document.

It's sometimes frustrated because I'm disappearing during my work meetings.

Thanks in advance :)

The link says the file is deleted, which is just as well. Don't post anything that contains your serial number as that could be abused. Use the ten-character MTM number, instead, as that gives us details about your model without the unique serial number.

Thanks

Doc

Here is another problem I had before: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkPad-P-and-W-Series-Mobile-Workstations/New-P15-Gen1-Unexpected-immediate-shutdowns/m-p/5076409?page=1#5339230

BSODs were here, but then I updated OS, drivers etc. and the're gone.

For me it was easiest to investigate them than those shutdowns I have now :)

Would you have the same shutdown now after the updates.

You may check out general TS guide here
Other would also use 3rd party BSOD checker like whocrashed to help isolate probable cause.

Sfc /scannow and chkdsk (system file checker) are also valuable tools/ commands that you can use.

Yes, that's possible it may be something similar now. I think the who crashed tool won't show anything. I will try to see if there is anything there anyway.

I will do the scan once again as well.

It may be some externally connected device because I'm using an USB-C hub with connected Ethernet, hdmi and two USB devices. My display also provides kvm with connected keyboard and mouse dongles.

I will try to see if the shutdown happens next week and then I will disconnect the hub and will be working without it for next let's say two weeks. I will say it's something that externally connected if no shutdowns appear.

Any other ideas?
