Upgrading to Windows 10 v May 2004

I am still waiting for my update to Windows 2004.  What is the current status on getting Lenovo's  fixes on Realtek and Nvidia"s programs so my P51 qualifies for the 2004 update?

Hello,

Check both the driver download page for your specific model of ThinkPad periodically for updated drivers and Microsoft's Windows 10 Version 2004 page at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/release-information/status-windows-10-2004 for updated information on the latest issues which are blocking installation of the update or have been resolved.

Thanks,

I am aware of this link.  What I am waiting for is for Lenovo to work with Realtek and Nvidia to resolve the "incompatibility issues.  It's been two months since Windows 10 May 2004 update was released.

Microsoft's, 8/11, latest Tech Tuesday has come and gone with still no Windows 10 2004 update; still using Windows v1909.  It's been over three months since the May 2020 feature update was announced.  Does anyone have any idea when this update can be downloaded to my Lenovo P51?   Also why Lenovo, Realtek and Nvidia haven't released compatible updates to accommodate Windows 2004?

Hello,

I have received the Windows 10 Version 2004 update on several ThinkPads, as well as some non-Lenovo desktops (ASRock and ASUS motherboards) with both Nvidia and Realtek hardware in them.

Perhaps there is a compatibility issue with some software installed on the computer, or device driver for hardware from another manufacturer that was plugged into it, such as a dock or soundcard?

Finally, Windows 10 v2004 was offered on my Windows Update on Thursday.  Downloaded v2004 without any issues.  All is fine now.  I have no explanation as to why it took so long to get.  Oh Well.

Thanks to all.
