VIDEO DXGKRNL FATAL ERROR WINDOWS 10 LENOVO THINKPAD P70

2021-06-18, 18:04 PM

I keep getting this blue screen error when I start windows. I am using a LENOVO THINKPAD P70. WINDOWS 10

VIDEO DXGKRNL FATAL ERROR . I have attached the screen image.

I was getting some other errors but they seem to be gone away after a Windows 10 update and above error still remains.

Any help appreciated.

Hi beyaz,

I hope you do your backup before any updates as a usual practice.

You may need to run repair on the Windows like chkdsk and sfc scannow for checking file integrity first.

Hello beyaz,

Greetings

Yes, you may run system file checker to determine your Windows 10's current state.
Make sure that your OS is up to date as well.
Update us how it goes.

Unfortunately I still have the problem. It only appears if I shut it down and then start again. If I restart the pc I do not have the problem.

You can run diagnostics too before deciding any full reset.
Just be sure to back up your personal files before proceeding.
Take care
