I have mine at 2560x1440 and like 120% scaling and it is great, not very bright but plenty for indoor use and colors are also accurate as far as I can tell putting it next to my pb278q.

You might like to try the approach to scaling outlined here if you haven't already and want to avoid the Windows 10 scaling issues  (ignore the software in the OP of the link... there is a script fix later on in the thread)

interesting, I never thought of not running it at native 4k resolution.

what is the difference between your setting vs doing 4k with 150 % scaling?

I'm on 7 Pro as you can see in my video :) and text is not as bad as some other icons that are in certain apps. 1440p does not normally go well into 4k anyways so some blurring will be present regardless. I use it to do IT diagnostics and some VM work so it is fine for my needs. I did see this though and maybe it is the same thing on the other site but I also will try it out if I have time.

I find it is more a case of the P530 intel gpu when the quadro is not in use. The 4k native res is way to many pixels to not get stutter in things like chrome ect. I also have some pretty bad vision so mostly got the screen for the better colors and viewing angles. I also can move program layouts off my desktop pb278q (1440p) to the P50 easily now without having to resize anything.

Thanks for the video ! Indeed, I think Lenevo owes an explanation here because several months back the screen was absolutely terrible. It is covered in the review. Wondering whether the low PWM frequency issue is also fixed or not.

PWM is not present at all brightness levels which the review also mentions.

The viewing angles of mine are just as good, but I've learned not to use recorded video in dynamic lighting conditions with a non-fixed shutter speed as "reference material". Besides, the annoying part about the screen is more or less only visible on solid, bright backgrounds like white or grey, e.g. web pages, coding, spreadsheets - nearly everything. My eyes actually start to "itch" after about 30-40 minutes and often catch myself actually squinting to read stuff - never happens with my external display - so I'm using that 99% of the time.

Instead of more guesswork, demo a 4K P50 somewhere. :-)
