iMac as external display

2020-03-25, 23:04 PM

I have a P52 with thunderbolt 3 port that I'm attempting to connect to a late 2013 iMac for use as an external display. I'm connecting the two via applethunderbolt 2/3 adapter. I've enabled the BIOS assist mode and turned off thunderbolt security on my P52. My thunderbolt port now says that a macintosh is connected, but I can't manage to actually mirror/create a second screen on the iMac. All my P52 drivers are updated. Others have claimed they've made a similar setup work, but I'm having no luck. Any advice!!??
