I have a new machine, just got is this week, and I am having the same problem!   Any fix yet?   It gave a message a few times about a Win32.dll file missing or corrupted.

Regards,

  1. Before the procesure uninstall Digitizer Activity Monitor form the Control Panel
  2. Download Digitatizer Software and Drivers ver 5.0.8.11 ( save to the disk ) and uncompress into a directoty ( don't install in this step )
  3. Shutdown w700.
  4. Startup W700 in safe mode ( press F8 when the W700 is in startup process )
  5. Go to the folder that contais the uncompress sofftware
  6. Run setup.exe
  7. Restart W700 in normal mode

Re-Installing the Drivers in Safe Mode Works 100% on both Windows 7 Pro & Windows 7 Ultimate (64bit) Versions.

I have Tested on my W700 - 2757 CTO with dual Hdds (Raid 0 Configurations including Turbo-Mem installed)

AS I have Already Explain in Earlier Post Please do the following to Positively resolve this issue.

Physically Tested on:

* Note Book: W700 -2757-CTO

* Turbo Memory Installed 2GB

* RAM Installed 4GB.

* Dual HDDs installed (Raid -0) Stripe

* Windows 7 (64bit) Ultimate

Sulution i have Tested on my own Laptop with above Configurations.

**Windows 7 Normal boot (Not Safe Mode)**

1. Uninstall The Think Pad Digitizer Activity Monitor First.

2. Uninstall Wacom Digitizer Driver.

3. Download and Extract the Both applications / Drivers from Lenovo (but Do not Install them Yet) , http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-70498 .

4. Remember the location where you extracted the bot the applications.

**Windows 7 Safe Mode boot**

5. Re-start your Laptop and Press "F8" Key on start up in till you see Advance options list.

6. Chose by pressing "Down Arrow" keys and select "Safe Mode" and hit "Enter" key on the keyboard.

7. Log-into windows.

8. Locate the folder where you Extracted the Wacom Digitizer Driver and right Click on mouse Run as Administrator. ( Do not install he Think Pad Digitizer Activity Monitor first.)

9. Re-Start your Laptop.

10. Enjoy Full Clean Error Less install of  "Wacom Digitizer Driver" .

** Now you May install " Think Pad Digitizer Activity Monitor from Normal Windows.

I have Test This my Self on 2010-06-14 and works 100% fine.

NB:- if you need to re-install  "Wacom Digitizer Driver" again after performing these steps it possible to perform a re-install with out Safe Mode second time.

Best of Luck

Wahaib

Re: w700 Blue Screen when update Wacom driver

The problem is how to uninstall the wacom digitizer monitor? It didn't show in my Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features or Control Panel at all.

It crashed(Blue screen) when I uninstall the driver from the device manager. How uninstall it from Registry?

Thanks.
