4GB memory pricing

The configurator for the W520 shows a delta price of $160 to add 4gb of memory to the base 4gb. The price of additonal memory on the accessory site is $62! P/N 55Y3711  PC3-10600 DDR3-1333 DDR3 SODIMM . What's up with this? Looks like a $100 error in the configured price. Anyone else see this?

Re: 4GB memory pricing

Doubt there is a mistake. It's all marketing and profit. Most people who are not necessarily hardware savvy will pay the extra money (often without knowing the price difference) to get the amount of RAM they want.

I ordered my W510 with a base single 4GB module purposely, and added the "accessory" 4GB model in the same order and installed it myself for 8GB total, but with a large savings for installing it myself. I even called to ask Lenovo at the time of order if they would install the extra module during build, but they of course would not ;-)
