I have a W530 with a NVIDIA Quadro K1000M graphics card running Win 10 Pro. To solve a display problem, on advice I got on this forum, I changed the graphics device in the BIOS from NVIDIA Optimus to Discrete Graphics and changed OS Detection from Enabled to Disabled. This did correct my display problem.
Now, however, bluetooth audio no longer works. I can connect to my bluetooth headset (actually my hearing aids) and when I look at playback devices in the Sound dialog the bluetooth headset is selected. When I open the volume mixer the level indicators show that sound is being produced but I do not hear anything. Note that the bluetooth headphones work with my phone and the bluetooth transmitter on my TV so the problem is with the laptop. Any suggestions would be welcome.
