Problem: My bluetooth cant find any devices.
I have tried to uninstall bluetooth drivers, reboot and reinstall the newest drivers from Lenovo (6.2.0.9600 7zbv12ww) but with no luck. I can see on my cellphone that bluetooth is sending a signal, but not receiving. I have also tried with the earlier drivers (6.1.0.5100 7vbv05ww).
My bluetooth have worked at an earlier state, but recently i bought a microsoft bluetooth mouse and it connected fine the first time i used it. But the next time i started my computer it couldn't find any bluetooth devices. It was also around this time system update installed the new bluetooth driver stack. This is the reason i also tried the older driver.
My machine is a Lenovo W500 OS Win 7 64-bit. Bluetooth is biult-in, not a dongle.
Hope someone has a suggestion :-)

Make sure in Win 7 that you have Allow Bluetooth Device Discovery enabled. Try another bluetooth device like a mobile phone to see if that device can connect.

Hello
I have checked the Allow Bluetooth coinnection box in bluetooth settings, and tried with several different bluetooth devices. The devices can detect my computer but my the computer detects nothing. Nor does the computer react when i try to connect from my mobile phone.

I have the same problem with VISTA 64. I even had Lenovo come out and change the motherboard. No luck.
I needed to do work so I told them to forget it, but it's fricking frustrating. When I added a USB bluetooth reciever, that worked. The existing bluetooth is not happy with the broadcom drivers that Lenovo insists on using...

I've never been happy with the Bluetooth support in the thinkpads. With my T43 I finally gave up on my Plantronics Bluetooth headset (not the phone headset but a bluetooth PC headset). Ive tried the headset with my W700 and had limited success. I have a ThinkPad Bluetooth mouse but have switched to a USB mouse because it did not always work.
BTW I gave up on the Bluetooth support in my Wife's Sony Viao as well. Too many issues.
