Re: Crucial 2x8gb kit

Good to know, thanks. However, there are better deals i.e. Corsair.

Re: Crucial 2x8gb kit

FYI:  I put in 2 sets of the 2x8GB into my W520 (2820QM) and all my blue screens and unexepected shutdowns have stopped.  The last blue screen I had was on 12/23 which was immediatlely before I put the new sticks in.

Re: Crucial 2x8gb kit

What memory did you install?

I am running the 2x8GB Corsair sticks in my T420.  Paid $109 for them.

Re: Crucial 2x8gb kit

Yes, there are cheaper deals, but I like Micron quality. They are one of the selected suppliers for Lenovo OEM.

Forgot to mention, used the Corsair in the 4 x  8 GB arrangement.

All I've ever seen ThinkPads come with is Hynix (Hyundai) RAM.
