Hi, Thanks for reaching out. You can use this site https://www.lenovo.com/ca/en/docksSearch/ to find compatible docks for the Thinkpad P52. Just select the proper filters and it will show you the compatible docks for your system. Let us know if you have any questions.

The P52 requires a 170W power adapter. USB Type-C is only able to provide 100W maximum. So when you look at a dock that only has USB Type-C or Thunderbolt 3 connectivity, NONE OF THEM WILL CHARGE THE P52. This is a technical limitation, not something wrong with any particular dock.
You can use any of the ThinkPad Thunderbolt-3 docks if you have one, but they will require an extra power adapter to be connected to the notebook. So the docking functionality uses the USB-C / TB3 cable, and power is provided through the separate power connection.
If you are looking for a single cable solution, look at the ThinkPad Thunderbolt-3 Workstation dock. It is single cable, but actually also has "two connectors", because of the above technical limitation. But this is the official dock for the P52, P72 and P1.

I actually reviewed the dock if you want to read more about it.
If you have any questions about the dock that I might be able to answer post them here below
