Dolby Turns Itself Off On My P50

For some reason, since today, my Dolby sound periodically turns itself off. I try to turn it back on again from the Lenovo Settings, and it will stay on briefly, and then go off later. I even updated the sound driver in Device Manager, did that and restarted, and its still doing it.

What's going on?

Have you updated to the latest Realtek driver?

This fixed the same issue for me.

Which version? As I know the newest version is 6.0.1.7898 and mine is this version already.
Where did you updated? Thanks.

Re: Dolby Turns Itself Off On My P50

Hi jimogsh

1. Uninstall existing Realtek Audio Driver and Dolby apps. (Control Panel > Programs and Features).

2. Download and reinstall the Realtek Audio Driver again.

That is the latest version.

I also unistalled all the Lenovo tools, just before reinstalling the Realtek driver.

Yes I tried but it seems doesn't work, the dolby audio still auto turns off sometimes. How can we make it always turn on?

Hi Bullshark

How about update your Realtek sound card driver through its official website?
