I'm using Lenovo ThinkPad W540 with NVIDIA Quadro K2100M.
Is it a problem if I update the Quadro driver with the one from NVIDIA's website ?
Do I have to stick to Lenovo's drivers at any condition ?
What's the latest driver version released by Lenovo ? Is it 398.36 ?
GeForce Experience is saying there is an update...

Any ideas ?
With Lenovo's driver I noticed a white line flickering in top side of the monitor

While with NVIDIA's driver the flickering was gone

Hi daimubate! Welcome to our forums community. It is not a problem to install the driver directly from the manufacturer. You still have an option to install the older version from Lenovo website should something wrong happens on the laptop due to the update. The reason why it is not yet published on the Lenovo website is that it is not yet tested by Lenovo to work completely fine with your machine.
