Express Card SSD as boot drive.

Has anyone used an Express Card SSD on the W540?  Can it be made bootable?

Interesting thought about having either different OS Express cards or a system backup drive.

Re: Express Card SSD as boot drive.

AFAIK, you can't boot directly to ExpressCard. You might be able to rig something up with GRUB on the primary drive, though.

This article seems to point to a certain card reader that is bootable, which suggests that it's possible if the device makes itself visible to the BIOS as a USB device?
