From my experience with older machines, it will, provided only that the BIOS is white-list patched; otherwise the system will not boot up and would report "unauthorized PCI express card detected" or the like.
In short, Gobi 3000 will not work unless your BIOS is patched such that it bypasses the white-list detection.
