Thanks! Sorry about the wrong place, this was the most extensive lenovo.modern.imcontroller.pluginhost-thread I could find and I really suspect that thing to be the cause somehow.

I did all of that but still the same problem unfortunately...

 

p.s. I just found out that this only happens while running on adapter power. On battery power display brightness remains stable (but this is no solution of course since the CPU and GPU are probably throttled on battery).
