In the promotion video, they showed a 4TB drive inside the machine. As I know, the max size of NVMe SSD is 2TB right now. How many NVMe SSD can one put inside the machine?

I do not have any inside information or knowledge but strictly as a guess, I would imagine it could mean 1 x 2.0TB M.2 2280 drive and 1 x 4.0TB 2.5" SATA drive, or 2 x 2.0TB M.2 2280 drives and one 2.0TB 2.5" SATA drive,3 x 2.0TB M.2 2280 drives,
Micron and Angelbird both make 8TB 2.5" SATA SSDs, but I'm not sure if these are 7.5mm or 9mm high drives. If the P53 does have a 2.5" SATA bay, drives like these might be one way to get more than 6TB of storage, although it would be non-NVMe as well as likely to be very expensive and not warrantied by Lenovo.

Confimed by the HMM, se attached picture.
But there is also a model with only two NVMe slots:
I dont know hoew to tell which one you get.
