How to fix Lenovo Vantage Toolbar (Battery Gauge) Menu Disappears Once Clicked

2018-11-20, 23:00 PM

Hi, my P1 has been doing this since I got it. Installed the latest Power Management driver and hoped it would be fixed as the release notes indicated a similar issue was addressed (but for Windows 7). No luck. When I click the battery maximizer gauge for the first time after a boot, the menu pops up once. Upon a second click, the menu appears for a nanosecond and then is gone.

I tried the solution in here https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-Vantage-Knowledge-Base/How-to-fix-Lenovo-Vantage-Toolbar-Battery-Gauge/ta-p/4217326 and it worked initially but then the behavior returned.

It's only a minor annoyance ... but it would be nice to fix. Anyone? TIA!
