There are two releases of the same driver version (18.104.22.1684) available:
The former I have installed. The latter carries a warning:
Caution: This package should not be installed if your system has PCIe SSD. Please use MS inbox driver instead.
I have a PCIe NVME SSD as the boot drive installed, along with a standard HD in the other bay. My concern is that I running the same 22.214.171.1244, but lenovo decided to place the warning in the readme only when it re-issued the driver.
Should I overwrite this driver with the MS inbox driver? Or should I continue to use it? SSD performance isn't the greatest when I compare my ATTO, AS SSD and Crystalmark results to the benchmarks for the SM951 256GB.

I've been using the Intel driver, both the current and previous versions, on my P70 with RAID 1. I don't believe that the MS inbox driver supports RAID so I assume that the Intel driver is required. I've experienced no issues for more than 8 months with this driver with the SM951 NVMe-PCIe SSDs in a RAID 1 array.
