Every time my computer shuts down or goes to sleep, I always get that white screen the first time then I have to completely turn off the Laptop and in some cases disconnected the battery to get it to work. What could be the issue?

This sounds more like a panel than a motherboard. If it was under warranty, why wasn't it sent to Lenovo?

It is marked as 'solved' but it is very much not solved. The 'workaround' was to roll back your Intel HD Graphics driver until Microsoft released the Fall Creators update (which deleted everyone's previous drivers).
