I have a problem with my lenovo w530. Some time ago the laptop suddenly restarted when I was working. Since then I can't boot to OS and if I try to boot from CD or USB it reboots. Please see the video for better understanding: https://youtu.be/VJH0YvU4qk0
Does somebody have a hint for the root cause?
Thanks a lot!

I cannot tell what the video shows. Are you hitting keys? What keys?

What operating system was the ThinkPad W530 running and was it configured for UEFI or BIOS-CSM? If UEFI, have you tried setting the device to BIOS-CSM before booting from DVD or USB flash drive? If so, does that make any difference?
If you remove the DVD-RAM disk drive and SanDisk Cruzer USB flash drive and power up the machine, what exactly happens when the machine tries to boot from ADATA SX300 SSD? Does it display an error? If so, what exactly does the error say?

I was running win10 on the machine. I have tried different configuration like UEFI or BIOS-CSM but there is not difference. I tried with and without the cd drive no success. Basically its always the same behaviour if I try to boot from any devices. There is no error showing up. The laptop just restarts...

The only thing I can think of is a loose component somewhere. Is the unit still under warranty? If so you might want to have the unit serviced. If if it out of warranty, you could consider downloading the hardware maintenance manual and very carefully disassembling and then reassemble the unit while looking for loose internal cables and connections.

I have this same problem running W530 and windows 10. This started about March 10, 2017 or so. I thought it was the SSD so I changed my harddrive and reinstalled Windows 10; but again I have the same problem yet again.
The boot loop continues for 5+ hours, but eventually it does boot up. When troubleshooting, I tried messing with the BIOS but changing such settings - secure boot, eufi, etc - didn't have any results. Once it does boot, it works for some period of time, but later I get stuck in a boot loop yet again and wait 5+ hours.
I'm suprised Lenovo and Microsoft doesnt fix this problem. It can boot my linux USB; so seriously doubt its a physical hardward or loose cable type issue.

In the video posted by @jur4ik, the W530 would not boot from a Linux USB flash drive, so I think you may have a different issue from his.
Microsoft did release a large monthly cumulative update for Windows 10, followed by a large hotfix for it, and I'm wondering if some third-party software installed on the W530 might be conflicting with it. That's just a guess on my part--I'm not aware of anything specifically which conflicts, but I sometimes see issues with utilities and security software when Windows is updated.
