Mac Thunderbolt Display not detected by ThinkPad P52

I have a Mac Thunderbolt display that has a Thunderbolt 2 connector. This display was working well with my previous ThinkPad running Windows 7.

Just recenlty I switched to a ThinkPad P52 running Windows 10. Plugging my display into the Mini DisplayPort 1.4 does nothing. In settings, trying to detect devices says "No Devies Detected".

Does anyone know how to get my Mac Thunderbolt Dispaly working on my ThinkPad P52?

Re: Mac Thunderbolt Display not detected by ThinkPad P52

I don't have a ThinkPad P52 (or a Thunderbolt display of any kind, for that matter), but it seems to me that if the display natively uses Thunderbolt that you would want to use a Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 cable or adapter between the two devices.  As far as I know, the ThinkPad P52 does not support Thunderbolt 2 on its MiniDisplayPort connector, just regular DisplayPort signaling.
