Re: W series shipping thread

I have seen this on the boards before and I believe you're right. Lenovo screwed up the paperwork and you're hung up in customs. I believe you can't do anything other that wait. Somewhere I saw 3-5 days but no personal knowledge here.

Re: W series shipping thread

I ordered my W500 on 10/21/08 and it was shipped on 10/27/08. This is four days ahead of what they estimated. Hopefully the same will happen with UPS.

My W500 made it to Alaska at about 1:00 this afternoon.

I think I'm the same flight. 12:45 pm in ANCHORAGE. (of course I order 9/30 but they did get it fixed)

Yep, that's the one. Is yours scheduled for delivery on November 3rd?

Re: W series shipping thread

I was scheduled for Nov 3 but the delivery date has disappeared from my UPS tracking. I have no idea why. I will probably have problems at the end due to not being home. Does anyone know if I can call UPS to have them hold the delivery for me to pick up before their first attempt?

Re: W series shipping thread

YAHOO! YIPEE! I'm as giddy as a school girl.  Smiley Wink

My w700 showed up!!!!! I received an email with the shipping notification last night and the UPS guy showed up w/ it today!!!! I am very excited and hoping this thing is really worth all the $$$$, but so far I am pleased Smiley Happy

I still think that Lenovo could use some help in the "communications" department..... It seems well built and the keyboard is like a cadillac compared to my hyundai (HP). I havent tried out the Wacom tablet or the color calibrator. Oh boy! This is better than Christmas.

Anyway....I'm not here to brag, I just wanted to encourage all of you who are still waiting!

Re: W series shipping thread

Glad it finely worked out for you.I know you had some pain along the way.

So it appears the pain was worth it.

Now if we can get the Alaskan's  to load that plane, the rest of us can join the party.
