P50 - M.2 SATA in one slot, NVME in other slot - only NVME recognized

This is probably documented somewhere, but I wish to confirm normal behavior. Can I install M.2 SATA device in one of the two M.2-size slots, and NVME device in the other? Thank you.

I've never tried, but as far as I know, it works.  Are the drives installed with the right orientation?  There is a picture on the caddy showing where the slots (1 or 2) should be.  Normally, chips face down.  Is it possible drive is recognized and not partitioned?  Look in windows disk manager

It may be that SATA is supported only on one of the slots. Try to change the slots and see the results ...
