I think moderator can stick this thread to the top of this board and keep us updated.
#1 Pop/crack sound from audio card
Latest status: Seems to be sound drivers issue. ETA of new driver: March 2016.
Orignal thread: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkPad-P-and-W-Seri
#2 HDMI port not working
Latest status: Haven't determined the root cause yet. Suspect Thunderbolt firmware issue.
Workaround: Load BIOS default seems to fix this problem.
Original thread: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkPad-P-and-W-Seri
#3 Unable to verify if ECC is functioning or not
Latest status: On Xeon P50/P70 with ECC RAM, hardware detect software showing ECC as "supported, disabled". While the same software shows "supported, enabled" on other machines.
Original threads:
Also, compatibility with faster RAM. Users want to use 2400 DDR4 not for speed but for availability:

#4 Difficult to find parts for after market storage (M.2 and 2.5" drives).
Latest status: Lenovo promise to make parts available
Part numbers:
FRU# UR835: SATA-HDD0 2.5" Drive cable - 2.5" Bay on the right, primary 2.5" bay without M.2 interfaces.
FRU# UR836: SATA-HDD1 2.5" Drive cable - 2.5" Bay on the left, secondary 2.5" bay with two M.2 interfaces.
2.5" bracket/caddy/tray: No part number, doesn't seem to be sold separately.
P/N: 4XB0K59917: M.2 Tray

#5 Unable to find RAID option in BIOS
Latest status: More of a sales strategy other than a technical problem. You'll have to choose the RAID option while placing the order. There's no way to add RAID option after the product is shipped.
#6 "display driver stopped responding" error on Windows 10
Latest status: This is more of a Windows 10 / display drivers issue. Seems to happen on Intel HD display card only. Suspect RAM related (as Intel HD use computer RAM as graphic RAM).
Suggestions for P51:
1) Keep the two 2.5" bays but make them support 9.5mm HDDs. Actually, you can squeeze in 9.5mm HDD into P50 if you trim down the "teeth" on the backcover. Since the chassis is thick enough for 9.5mm HDDs why not make it easier for customers?
2) Make both 2.5" bays support M.2 drives, so we can have up to four M.2 drives. With four M.2 drives, RAID5 becomes possible (Skylake CM236 chispet already supports RAID 5). That would be really a killing feature!
3) If possible, build the 2.5" interface onboard to eliminate the needs of cables. To keep the bay multi-purpose (supports both M.2 and 2.5" form factor), consider putting the M.2 interfaces on one end and the 2.5" interface on the other end.
4) if possible, make the 2.5" interface SFF-8639 (U.2) compatible so it can support PCIe 3.0 x4. SFF-8639(U.2) device end is backward compatible with SATA.

#7 - Hinge Clicking Noise - https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkPad-P-and-W-Seri
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8YYAyHorVgMClickin
Which is not a problem, since no one else reported this. Seems like its your machine only, cause my P50 sure does not show that.

Regarding #3: AtliJarl has messaged the ThinkStations team in order to have ECC enable/disable option implemented in BIOS/UEFI. So far, there is no evidence that ECC is doing its job, there's more evidence hinting at that it doesn't currently work. Someone at Lenovo should look into this, but my hope is that this ThinkStations team may reach the same conclusion sooner or later.
