I've heard the rumor that some components you ordered would cause delay (such as touch screen, RAID, etc.).
Let's share some info here so we can understand what might have cause the delay. To make the thread easy to read, please update your ogirinal post whenever the estimated shipping date was changed (instead of adding a new post to the thread). Thanks!

I will just followup here: I order on April 6th with 64GB RAM, 500GB HDD, 1080 screen with Muti-touch and Pen Pro, i7-6700HQ CPU and M1000M GPU, along with a Storage Kit for the HDD cables. No RAID and other special configurations. It didn't allow me to pay in two credit cards by the system, a CSR was helping me on putting the order and he had restarted his program to complete my order by some reason at that time.
Model: P50 20ENCTO1WW
Original shipping date: April 7th, 2016.
Original delivery date: April 14th, 2016.
Shipping date Delayed to (on April 7th): April 15th, 2016.
Delivery date Delayed to: April 23rd.
Booking place: US.
On April 9th, the Storage Kit was shown as "Cancelled" on the order status page and a couple of cancellation notification emails came before it for the system cancellation as well. Chatted with a CSR, there seemed to be an error on the order status page, and the order should be shipped. Waiting for more updates now.

Did you ever get your order?
I ordered a P50 on 3/17/16 with a raid configuration. The site said delivery in 5 -7 business days. 7 days later I received an email showing a delay.
"There has been a change to the estimated ship date for one or more items in your order and we are unable to ship them by the original date promised. We are working hard to get your order shipped soon, and it will ship within the next 30 days. To view your revised estimated ship date, please utlize our online order status tool."
Now the site shows a delivery date of 4/28. That's SIX WEEKS from my order date. BUT YET the site still shows my configuration with a delivery of 5 - 7 days to anyone ordering today. Numerous chat sessions get no answers. They have no idea and are no help whatsoever. Totally useless.
So I have a $300.00 unopened dock that is paid for and nothing to plug into it.
Should I return the dock, cancel the order and get a Dell 7510?
This is so disappointing think twice before ordering.

Have you called to their Post Sale Department: 1-855-253-6686? My experience is that the front CSR in the chat sessions have no idea what is going on in the manufacturing and shipping departments, but the number may help. What's your model number? 20EN*CTO* seems to be a signal of being likely to be delayed. Good luck!

Good to know your update! That sounds reasonable to me since not many people are ordering that SSD option. Just wait a little more while...
My order was mysterily cancelled completely today... I suspect it may be something wrong done by the CSR when it was ordered on chat--he told me he had to restart the program to make the order and he cannot use two credit cards for me to pay which I have no problem today by myself. So, I reordered it with the same config today by myself to see if anything went through.
For the warranty, I used the 3-Year Keep Your Drive Compatible with Depot/... The CSR said it is effeciently a 3-year warranty for manufacture fault, although the 1-Year depot warranty was still shown on my final submission along with the 3-year one.

After having time to think about it and do (more) research, I canceled my order and re-ordered with a different configuration. At this point I am glad I had time to rethink my configuration. This unit is showing a ship date 4 days after ordering. Lets hope it ships as promised....

Good luck on your order! Yes, knowing what you really need is better than getting something unwanted in a rush!
PS: My order seems getting accelarated after @Andy_Lenovo communicated with the manager for my previous wrong Cancellation Notification issue. It shows to be shipped on April 14th (tomorrow) after my reorder from yesterday.

I received two emails this morning showing that both the Storage Kit (HDD cable) and the system have been shipped (maybe in two separate packages).
