P50 UHD

2017-02-17, 13:15 PM

Hi i recevied for work a p50

the internal screen is FullHD only but has the nvidia quadro m1000m

I mangage now to set in bios to 512MB and in nivida manager i told system always to use this card insted of the intel.

attached external UHD monitor over adapter minidisplayport to DVI/HDMI

The monitor is detected but as resolution i can maximum select full HD

Works fine but i would like to use the UHD Resolution

What could be wrong?

The graphics memory entry in the BIOS is used when running intel graphics.  nVIDIA uses memory on the chip.  Is your lis open or closed?  Is external monitor set to duplicate, extend, ??
