P50 and the NVIDIA Display Driver (NVIDIA N16S / Quadro N16P)

I've searched the forum and can't find anything listed with my current problem.

 

In the recent Windows 10 updates I started having problems with the Quadro M2000M video driver. Every time I clicked on Windows Notifications my screen would flicker several times and the NVIDIA driver along with the Intel(R) HD Graphics P530 driver would fail. They would only work if I rebooted the computer.

 

Both drivers would also fail if I let the computer go to sleep and later woke it up. It would also fail if I tried to run the built-in Pantone color calibration software.

 

The most recent update (KB4512508) seems to cause the driver to fail automatically when I start. The welcome screen obviously loads with the proper drivers, flickers a few times then the two display adapters fail.

 

I can only get the drivers to work properly by rolling back that most recent update, but I can't click on Windows Notification nor allow the computer to go to sleep or both drivers will fail.

 

Has anyone else encountered this problem? If so, does anyone have any advice on how to fix the problem?

 

I've loaded the latest drivers but that has not solved this issue.
