P51 sudden display problem

Suddenly my P51 started to show weird problem with its display. There is vertical line starting at approximately 480 pt with width 480 pt too. You can see it on this picture:

20190605_174252.jpgP51 display problemI

t's exactly at the place where calibrator is located. It means, I can't use photo calibrator and I can't watch movies. Actually, I can't do anything to remove it from the screen. Smiley Sad

Do you guys see this happening?

And most importantly, how to get rid of it?

Re: P51 sudden display problem

If you hook up external display does it show the same?  What about in Bios?

Re: P51 sudden display problem

I just watched a movie and it looks like its somehow fixed itself. Now I'm a happy camper Smiley Very Happy

Before that I've noticed, that the problem was with Intel HD Graphics, as I've seen this effect when NVIDIA M2200 was off. But I guess now it doesn't matter. Thank you for sending your post in respond to my problem!

I just tried external display and it doesn't show the problem. I guess, it leaves that the problem is with LCD itself and I have to look to a replacement.

Laptop has: 15.6" 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) Anti-Glare IPS.

@ Do you know part number for this panel?

Thank you in advance!

Re: P51 sudden display problem

Sorry to hear that.  For part number you can go to parts lookup.  Don't post your serial number here BUT if you go to parts lookup it should provide you the part numbers for your specific laptop.
