P53 with OLED display shipping delay

My P53 was supposed to ship by Sept 29 to be received by Oct 3. I just checked and the new ship date is Oct 30 receive date of Nov 6. I suspect that the issue is the OLED display, but there's no way to determine the parts restriction. Hopefully, the unit will be built when projected.

Did you order a pre-built config or Customized (CTO)

CTO config. There are no preconfigured models with OLED displays for sale at this time to my knowledge.

If you can believe the shipping timeframe I have a bridge for sale! My build time was originally 10 days ordered originally on Sept 14. Now it is 45 days for build on Oct 30.

prebuilt is much more likely to be available

if you choose 32gb dimms they may also be short supply

I did not order 32gb sodimms. Remember, both types of systems are SAP variants. Prebuilt would be in stock and not 2 week delay IMO.

sales site says 1-3 days.  I don't know what happens at checkout

Checkout says 10 to 14 days which may or may not be accurate. I don't trust the sales page at all these days. I had a TB3 workstation dock on order with a 2 week ship estimate. The unit shipped from Winston Salem NC and I had it in 2 days instead (it was in stock in the US).

Well, in the world of fulfillment, as of tonight, my order now says Oct 8 for ship vs Oct 30 last night. We're making progress!
