i'm trying, for a long time, to update my Intel Management Engine Software 19188.8.131.526.
When i go in LENOVO Vantage i see the critical update and install it with completly reboot.
When after reboot return to LENOVO Vintage and check for updates i see again the new version to instal. Now the last version is 19184.108.40.2068 but i have this problem also with the previous versions.
I tried to install it locally using the software downloaded from LENOVO site, but the resul is the same: software installed but not present in the system. Every time i reboot and run the UPDATE from LENOVO VIntage it tells me I still need to install it.
What can i do?
And to finish my post, i don't know if it depend from this update but my Ethernet device (Intel Ethernet Connection I219-LM) most of the time it doesn't work and i'm forced to work with my wi-fi connection.

Hi Mauirinho! Welcome to our forums community. The Lenovo Vantage app is intended for Ideapad laptops. For Thinkpads like your computers, you will be needing the Think Vantage app. You can get it here: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht037696. Once you have it running, run the update and install all detected updates.

i'm sorry but nothing is changed and I wanted to tell you that I had already tried this solution but with the same result.
The only thing I can say is that it cannot update because it cannot find the installation files of the version to be uninstalled.
Can anyone help me?

As Jwes_Lenovo has said, perhaps it would be convenient not to rely on Lenovo Vantage to keep your machine updated. You could try updating IME manually from https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/it/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/thinkpad-p-series-laptops/thinkpad-.... Once the update is finished, you could check the result following the instructions on the paragraph "DETERMINING WHICH VERSION IS INSTALLED" contained in the READ ME FILE. BTW, IME latest version is 19220.127.116.118, assuming your OS is WIN 10 64bit.

Hi everyone, I'm sorry but I had already tried this way too but the result is always the same. I also tried to uninstall everything but the situation is still the same.
The currently installed version continues to be 1918.104.22.1686 ... sob !!!
