Any ideas on next steps for diagnosing a Solutions Center hardware scan that always freezes on either discrete or NVidia graphics card, or Motherboard? It sticks at 0%, have to hard-power cycle the laptop. Fans are on at maximum while it's frozen, it does this indefinitely unless power cycled.
I've also had it freeze on IRQ at 0%. Windows update running (related to my other post) seems to have allowed that test to resolve fine.
Perhaps related, but in System Snapshot, Motherboard info never gets populated. I just see the spinning wheel of acquiring info, happens indefinitely until switching to another tab. All other sections populate fine.
EDIT: latest BIOS, latest version of Lenovo Solution Center. I recall an earlier version of Solutions Center running through all tests fine when I got the laptop. So, it could either be the newer version, or hardware being broken. The fact that fans are running full blast when the test is run is perhaps a clue to which?
